Having a baby abroad
First of all, congratulations! It takes a whole different kind of mental strength to make the decision to have a child abroad. It can be scary, confusing, worrisome, comparative, lonely and a whole lot of WHAT THE F!*Ks! But at the end of the day, you get to meet your little bundle of love and it makes everything worth it. In this guide, I hope to provide some guidance based on my experience in Austria in November 2020. The majority of the "big appointments" of my prenatal care were in Austria, as well. Please note, every country handles the healthcare differently and always check with your health care provider for questions you have. This is a general outline to help you through and support you emotionally. Below are a few points that I went over in detail in the guide.
